About Shlomit

Shlomit Liberty (MS, MA, CCC-SLP) is a Medical Speech-Language Pathologist and an Independent Patient Advocate. She holds a clinical Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University.

For the last decade she has worked as a medical staff member at San Jose Regional Hospital, Stanford University Hospital, and New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. She worked across all levels of care, including emergency care, intensive care, critical care, step down units, and outpatient clinics. 

As a Patient Advocate, Shlomit specializes in advocacy during inpatient admissions (acute hospital, acute rehabilitation, and sub-acute rehabilitation) as well as post-discharge community re-integration. She works with patients in all hospitals and medical centers in New York City. 

Shlomit is deeply empathetic and a fierce advocate for her clients’ preferences, values, and wishes.
